Gallery

The gallery will be appeared once you touch the “photos” icon in the home page. The photos are categorized in albums. Camera roll, photo library are few of them. These albums direct you to the specified photo fields which are saved in the iPhone.

The photos of a specific album stored as tiled icons for easy searching, forwarding & deleting purposes.

By touching the tiled icon, switches to its original size. You can double tap to zoom-in your photo or just touch the screen with your two fingers and splitting works for zoom-in, as well as pinching in the same manner works for zoom-out. Swipe the screen to get the next photo once you need to see it with the original size.

Quick notes

Quick note option plays a massive role in my day to day life.There are some occasions where I have to take some quick notes in my daily life. After I got my iPhone, this become so easy and fun. When I'm traveling by bus or even I'm at the market, the quick notes really gives me a great help to take some important notes without wasting my time.

You can access to the quick notes simply touching the yellow icon in the home page. Once you access it, a list of quick note topics (which you have taken down before) appears in a list by the order of modification date (recently edited notes show first). (see the "list of notes" screen shot )

A search option appears in the top of the list where you can find a required note by typing a letter or two which relates to the required note.

Simply touching the ‘+’ mark in the upper right corner will take you to a new note where the key pad appears. You can use the key pad to type numeric, letters, symbols and even universal symbols on your note.(see "universal symbols" screen shot)

There are some additional letter previews you can insert your note by holding down a specific letter. Then you can see the variation of the letter which is shown in the screen shot "variations of a specific letter"

You can move the cursor to a specific sentence or a character for further modification. Just touch the screen and hold you finger until magnifying glass appears on the screen. Once it appears drag your finger to the specific location where you need to do the modification.(see "magnifying glass appears" screen shot)

If you need to work with select, copy & paste options, just simply double tap any where on the note. The copy, paste , select option will be appeared to choose your preference.(see "select,copy,paste options" screen shot.)

Even you select the whole text document; you can narrow it down by adjusting the blue color edges in the selected area. Once you touch the blue color needle,a magnifying glass will appears for fine adjustments. Drag your finger until you choose the required area to select.(see "Fine adjustments" screen shot)

Maps

This feature helps you to find your current location according to the Google maps. You can launch the application by simply touching the "Maps" icon in your home page.A blue color nipple shows indicates your current location on Google maps.

You can zoom it in or out to have a better view by just touch the screen with two figures an splitting or pinching them as you prefer.

Basically there are three main categories available for the appearance namely maps,satellite and hybrid.The Map category clearly shows the main roads and sub routes with there existing and updated names, where the hybrid category additionally shows the physical appearance of the searching area by using the satellite snap shots.

This application allows you to find the directions from one location to another location which you have specifically given. The distance between the two locations, how much time takes to reach there if you travel by foot or by a vehicle and more and more valuable information is given by this application.(see "directions to a specific location" screen shot)
